At this modern River North property, Tim Klein Framed was brought on to curate a distinctive photography collection that would elevate the experience of residents and visitors alike. Located at the edge of River North and the Gold Coast, the building blends historic Chicago architecture with upscale, modern interiors. To reflect this contrast and sophistication, Tim Klein sourced all of the artwork from his extensive archive of over 30,000 images—delivering a seamless visual story rooted in nature, texture, and timeless landscapes.
The chosen photographs are black-and-white landscapes from around the world, carefully selected to reflect both a sense of calm and subtle drama. Locations featured in the final collection include Kilimanjaro, Lake Mead, Ireland, Iceland, Costa Rica, the Inca Trail, Vietnam, Mount Rainier, and Bali. These images were installed throughout the building’s lobby, hallways, and resident lounge—adding a refined and organic element to the shared spaces.
Pulling entirely from Tim’s archive allowed the team to move quickly without compromising on quality, while still tailoring the final edit to fit the mood and tone of the building’s interiors. The result is a thoughtful, cohesive collection that creates quiet moments of beauty throughout the property.
