550 Washington Chicago Photography for Gensler PROJECT

Located in the heart of Chicago, 550 Washington serves as the U.S. corporate headquarters for a private client. For this project, Gensler turned to Tim Klein to deliver imagery that would reflect the spirit of the city while complementing the sleek, modern interiors of the new headquarters.

Drawing exclusively from his extensive archive, Tim curated a selection of Chicago imagery—ranging from graphic urban compositions to moody, atmospheric street scenes. These weren’t typical architectural photographs, but rather carefully selected views that captured Chicago’s character with a unique artistic edge.

Tim and his team worked closely with Gensler during the entire process—from concept to installation—on a tight two-week timeline. The final works were produced using premium photographic materials and clean, modern frames, installed in key areas throughout the headquarters to enhance the flow and tone of the space.
